Description Florian E.J. Fruth 2013-05-04 09:56:25 UTC
I played with a dual-monitor setup and everything seams to work fine. Now I ran into the problem that I checked the "[X] Do not ask again" in the "Monitor setup has changed" dialog which is shown when an additional display is connected.
Problem is: I search for over an hour and didn't find any way to reactivate this dialog, so that I could change the default action or remove the default action. IMHO there should be an option for this in the kcm_randr module. (And if you know how to change this atm please tell me also...).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect a monitor
2. Select "[X] Do not ask again"

I found a screenshot with the dialog that I want to restore: http://0xor.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/snapshot81.png

Thanks for reporting your bug.

Since reporting Krandr has since been replaced by KScreen. It is available in the Plasma 4 series, and is default in Plasma 5 onwards.

I hope this solves your issue. If you still have a problem after upgrading please reopen a new bug under kscreen.

Thanks
