Description Vit Pelcak 2013-04-30 15:01:11 UTC
I have several friends in contact list connected using mobile phone (in FB we ui there are shown with cell phone icon).

However these are not shown in contact list.
I think they should.

Reproducible: Always

If Facebook XMPP service does not provide this information then there's not a lot we can do.
It is rather limited, see: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/chat/

I'll double check the stanzas Facebooks server sends.

Note that you can still show offline contacts / search for these contacts and send them messages just like any other offline contacts.

Yep, I know that FB XMPP is limited.

I didn't knwo how much, so I chose to report and let you decide.

to us, they're offline. Sorry.

I'm reclosing it as 'UPSTREAM' as that's where it should be fixed (if possible at all) and that's the proper bug resolution :)

In case anyone wants to take this further, the place to go is https://bugs.freedesktop.org/ - product 'telepathy' and component 'gabble'.

No, I looked on Vacuum XML logs.
The "bug" is Facebook. Pester them.

Still a sort of upstream I guess :)
