Please install debug symbols (Ah, I forget that Archlinux doesn't provide debug symbols yet so you have to recompile kdebase-workspace by yourself )and provide a better backtrace.

No (nothing simple anyway). Either that, or file a bug with your distro, and let them try to sort it out.
