I have a Dell Latitude E6410 with an "NVIDIA Corporation GT218M [NVS 3100M] (rev a2)" video card. I've been using KDE reliably on this machine since 4.2, but just now upgraded to 4.10.2. After the upgrade, and every time since, starting kde (via lightdm) with a second monitor attached results in a message about a crash. I am attaching the stacktrace (the automatic submission wasn't able to complete due to the fact that it was kded that had crashed). If I disconnect the second monitor, then everything proceeds normally. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect second monitor 2. Turn on computer 3. At the lightdm login screen, enter username and password and login. Actual Results: KDE loads up and user is immediately presented with the KDE crash handler screen. This happens every time. Expected Results: KDE loads up and user is not presented with KDE crash handler. Everything is fine without the second monitor attached. Also, I'm using the proprietary Nvidia drivers (provided by Ubuntu) Thank you!
