When an applet running under Sun's jdk1.3.1 calls the URL.openStream() or
URL.openConnection() methods with an "http:" url cookies are not passed to the
server. 


Note:  Mozilla had a similar bug (that has been fixed) which I submitted as: 

 http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90037

but was marked as a duplicate of:

Is there any test suite where one can easily check out whether this reported 
behavior still affects the current versions of konqueror/kjava?

Yes, the webmin applets (eg. Others|File Manager). But you don't have to test, it's still 
there in kde-3.1 and in HEAD it only works with setting 'Use KIO'

Closing this one, now we have a way to let KIO do the network traffic.
