Subject: Dolphin freezes
Yesterday I upgraded to Kubuntu 13.04
Today Dolphin doesnt react well , for example within the main window no right mouseclick works and after a while it freezes.

 dolphin -v
Qt: 4.8.4
KDE: 4.10.2
Dolphin: 2.2

Is there a new version available or should I use an olderversion ?
Can I give you more information - how to make a dump ?
Thanks Waldi

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start dolphin
2. right click on any folder icon
3. no reaction

Thanks for the bug report!

Does disablng the Activities plugin help? Looks a bit like bug 314575.

Thanks for the quick reply. It looks like a duplicate of the other bug indeed then.

If you notice some slowness even after disabling the plugin in the Dolphin settings, this is another issue, but it's hard to tell what is responsible for that without more detailed information. There were some changes in Solid (the library that provides access to storage devices) in KDE 4.10 which could cause slowdowns in some situations, like when slow devices are being used.
