Description Vovochka 2013-04-24 23:19:20 UTC
I have an IMAP inbox.
I configure a filter for it, that catches mails by subject, moves them to another folder and marks them as read.

When filter is applied, email is moved to target folder bu still market as unread.
If there is no moving, filter apllies "mark as read" as it used to be.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a filter matching any mail in your inbox
2. Set actions like "move to folder" and "mark as read"
3. Mark target mail as unread.
4. Apply filter on target mail.

Sorry, forget to mention that "Name" is like "Название папки"
Non latin characters + spaces
Comment 4 Laurent Montel 2013-06-05 05:38:18 UTC
non latin1 is not a problem :)
Comment 5 Vovochka 2013-06-07 05:07:09 UTC
Looks like not a kmail bug :(
I've setup sieve filters on server side and got the same result :(
Comment 6 rjwgnr27 2013-10-29 23:41:27 UTC
I see the same issue. I do not have server sieve filters. I have tried it moving it to the "trash" folder on the imap server, and also to trash in a local folder. I have tried changing the order of actions from move, then mark to mark, then move. None of these have helped.

Filter as follows:
[Filter #0]

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 8 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:40:52 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
