Description HARDIK DHIMMAR 2013-04-24 18:41:24 UTC
Any video file opened in amarok uses VLC(Direct3D Output) which I am not able to close it. If I changed the song in the playlist, it automatically closes the VLC window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Amarok
2.Play any video file
3. Video is shown in VLC(Direct3D Output) which I am not able to close it.
Actual Results:
On Clicking close button of VLC(Direct3D Output) window, no action is taking place.

Expected Results:
On Clicking close button, VLC(Direct3D Output) window should be closed.

I think this is because no video plugins are installed for amarok. So uses VLC for output which can be closed only via changing a song.

Amarok is not a video player anyway, why would you want to open this with Amarok?

Closing as Amarok is not a video player anyway.
