Description Marc Haber 2013-04-19 11:51:33 UTC
Hi,

please consider implementing a short cut to show or hide the tab bar. I usually have a single small konsole window with as few decorations as possible in the lower left corner of my screen, but when i turn off the tab bar in that window, following konsoles opened in normal size do not have a tab bar as well.

Or, evern better, make the tab bar a feature of the Profile so that I can have my tiny window without a tab bar via its profile.

Greetings
Marc

Reproducible: Always

You can make this happen on a view by view basis by switching profiles. Create a profile that does not have tabs. Associate keyboard shortcuts for your usual profile and for the tabless profile. Shortcuts for profiles can be added in the manage profile menu. Switch between the two using these shortcuts.

It would be nice if profile shortcuts were listed with all the other shortcuts.

I just realized that the shortcut for a profile creates a new tab. To change the profile for an existing tab you have to use the menu.
