Created attachment 78982 [details] Screenshot of print widget and app with comments There are some HIG problems with the Manage Print Jobs plasma widget: - Strange register in upper right corner, not clear what it does and no description also. - Only the description of the printer is shown, but not the name. This is a problem since only the printer name is unique, not the description. Also in the Print dialog one chooses a printer by name, not by description. Then there is also the print-queue app in which everything is different, this should be uniform. See also attached screenshot.
It's not a register, it's a switch, as with any switch it's used to enable/disable the printer (It's a standard plasma component, which imo should be like the one on Android that has I and O for on/off). For the other issues some already have been fixed in master.

Is it possible to customize it, e.g. like putting the "play" and "pause" symbols on it? > For the other issues some already have been fixed in master. > So they come with 4.10.3?
No, it's not easy to change the component, which is why imo it should have show I and O like android does. Also no 4.10.3, master is 4.11 as most of these changes break translations...
