When playing, there is a long pause (about three seconds I'd say) between one light (and its associated beep) and the next. It makes the game rather tedious to play. On level 1, the first two lights come very close together, and then subsequent beeps are spaced out. On level 2, all beeps come with a long pause between. Comments from reviewers on Ubuntu Apps Directory (see provided link) suggest that this is not just my system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install blinken on Kubuntu . 2. Play. Actual Results: Long pause between each light/beep, as described. Expected Results: Brief pause between one light/beep and the next. (I watched a video of Blinken on YouTube to confirm that this isn't how it's supposed to work.) Kubuntu 12.04 LTS (Linux 3.2.0, KDE SC 4.8.5) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 (proprietary FGLRX driver)
Works fine for me on Kubuntu raring (what will be 14.04) without any way to reproduce this is hard to fix :-/
Might be sound system related (phonon, pulse, etc.) Please try changing phonon versions or backends, if this makes any difference.
