Description Sergey 2013-04-10 08:44:55 UTC
I use krdc for connecting to my computer (virtual machine on esxi with Windows Server 2008 R2). When I try to open another virtual machine console with vmware vsphere client, I see the white cursor on vm screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to Windows Server 2008 R2 via RDP
2. Open VMware vSphere client for esxi 5.0
3. Open virtual machine console with Windows OS
4. Click on vm screen to show vm cursor
Actual Results:
White glitchy cursor in virtual machine (main pointer and in every other states)

Expected Results:
Real virtual machine cursor as is

Can you please try to connect with freerdp from a terminal and check if the issue still exists (KRDC RDP support is based on freerdp from KDE SC 4.11). Current KRDC RDP support is based on rdeskop, which you could also test.

freerdp isn't installed on my PC, when I try to use rdesktop from console I can see this:

$ rdesktop -z -g 1916x1000  192.168.122.3
Autoselected keyboard map ru
WARNING: Remote desktop does not support colour depth 24; falling back to 16
