Description CodeRage 2013-04-09 01:59:48 UTC
On two different gmail accounts, I have tried to send emails for the last week and they have failed under the claim the username and/or password were not accepted. I know this to be incorrect because username and password have not changed (as I determined via webmail logins).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose Email (gmail only email provider attempted)
2. Send email
3. Get error message.
Actual Results:
"Email sending failed: Failed to transport message. Authentication failed. Most likely the password is wrong. The server responded: 5.7.1 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at http://support.google.com/mail/answer/14257" then what appears to be hashcode followed by - gsmtp.

Expected Results:
Email to be sent.

I am using opensuse 12.2 with gnome and kde installed. I use gnome shell, but run kmail as it does, and has run well for quite some time.

Do you have error message in konsole ?
or do you have error message in .xsession-error ?
(when you try to send email)
