Description Ezio Vergine 2013-04-04 22:46:33 UTC
When messages exceded plasmoid size, the chat plasmoid doesn't autoscroll at the last message.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 David Edmundson 2013-04-18 12:58:33 UTC
I can reproduce this here doing the following:

 - it starts working
- I then scroll by hand
- I scroll back to the bottom
- Send a new message
- Plasmoid does not autoscroll.

Git commit 414b444be68c9e5767fa6802ff650956307c2c71 by Aleix Pol.
Committed on 06/05/2013 at 14:15.
Pushed by apol into branch 'kde-telepathy-0.6'.

Don't check if it's moving to follow the conversation

It seems like a good idea, but it's not. It happens that when somebody
talks to you, it also sets to moving, so we'll skip some jumps to the end
if the conversation happens too fast.

This was changed in 0.8.0, can people reply if this is still an issue?
Comment 5 Maxime Corteel 2014-05-15 20:52:23 UTC
It still doesn't scroll down automatically for me (0.8.1 packages from the openSuSE repositories).
Comment 6 adr.fantini 2014-05-19 08:38:05 UTC
I can confirm the bug. Using Archlinux packages 0.8.1-1. It's extremely annoying.
Always reproducible.

As far as I see this is fixed in 15.03

Haven't been able to reproduce over the Plasma 5 version.
