Description Peter B. 2013-03-28 07:00:42 UTC
I'd like to see an option that in the brief view collumn count would be calculated from the longes file name shown in the view (as I was used to the feature from the total commander).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open directory containing many files (that don't fit to be shown all in the total commander
2. set a brief view to show the files

Actual Results:
I need to set fixed count of columns shown in the brief view. If I set it to too few => I'm wasting the space, if on the other hand I set it to too many => long file names are not shown completelly

Expected Results:
I'd like to have an option for variable column length in the brief view, that would be set in a way fitting the longest file name shown. (where my expectation would be to fit it the longest file name in the particular column)
