Description samual 2013-03-23 19:14:32 UTC
Since Kubuntu 12.10 (Okular 0.15.5 KDE 4.9.5) I can't print PDFs with Okular on my ISC824 (same as Ricoh 1224c) with PS Module which was working perfectly before. But I can print the same PDFs on another Printer (HP 5000) or with Evince on the same printer. It was working on previous versions (Kubuntu 12.04 with Okular 0.14.3 KDE 4.8.5) and to install KDE 4.10 hasn't solved the problem.

The printer is printing one page always printing the same content:
-------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: configurationerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: setpagedevice

STACK:

-dictionary-
-------------------------------------------------------

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open PDF
2. Print on Infotec 824 (or Ricoh 1224c)
3.
Actual Results:
Errormessage on page:
-------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: configurationerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: setpagedevice

STACK:

-dictionary-
-------------------------------------------------------

Expected Results:
Should print the PDF

Seems your printer is not compatible with the PS we (actually poppler(the library we use for pdf handling) not us) output, I'd sincerely suggest contacting the manufacturer of printer and speaking to them about it.

If you know how to compile/program stuff you may want to try to see what changed in poppler between the version used in Kubuntu 12.04 to the one in Kubuntu 12.10 that made your printer angry.

Give me a shout if you want to try to debug that.
