The text shown by the task switcher is not readable if the window behind it is black - for example, Konsole. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Konsole and maximise it 2. Open the task switcher by hitting Alt-Tab 3. Cycle through windows till Konsole is brought to foreground Actual Results: The text in the switcher is not readable, except for the currently highlighted window. Expected Results: The text should be readable with all backgrounds (for example, by adding a glow to it like Plasma uses it for some texts, or making the background less translucent to guarantee a minimum contrast of background to text colour). I have my tabbox set to "Informative", but it also happens with others. I will attach a screenshot.

we need a special TabBox background in the theme, but nobody listens to me when I say that the theme changes in 4.10 were a regression</rant>
whatever that theme is: a transparent background with no text effect (shadow/halo/outline) is just begging for trouble. -> looks like a theme bug.
It's the default theme, air. (In reply to comment #2) > we need a special TabBox background in the theme, but nobody listens to me > when I say that the theme changes in 4.10 were a regression</rant> I agree there are some annoying visual regressions, not only from 4.9 to 4.10, but also from 4.8 to 4.9 (e.g. the progress bars used by the volume and brightness indicators). Nobody seems to listen to bug-reports against the artwork component either... </rant>
