I'm not an experienced KDE user, so please correct me if I'm wrong. As far as I can tell, there doesn't appear to be a way to disable certain Plasma animations, such as this: http://i.imgur.com/kDvxbun.gif , this: http://i.imgur.com/DBQgpUc.gif , this: http://i.imgur.com/O4FS9FK.gif , or this: http://i.imgur.com/sPZwl2c.gif . (Note: compositing was turned off in all of those shots.) This looks like inconsistent design: you can turn off or customize a large number of effects and eye-candy, and yet there's a small number of animations (like the ones above) that appear to be set in stone. I think users should have more options available regarding what visual features they can disable in KDE. Thank you. Reproducible: Always
