Description Ralf Jung 2013-03-13 21:06:52 UTC
When compositing is disabled, the default Plasma theme (Air) looks like this on my system:
http://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=78027
That makes the icons at the bottom right as well as the clock very hard to read. Actually I thought this is a bug and Plasma would use the wrong background. However, I was told it is actually not a bug in Plasma but intended by the theme.
Please fix the contrast between the icons and the clock - in its current state, the theme is not really usable.

Reproducible: Always

No longer applicable or reproducible with Plasma 5.
