Hi,
I encountered the same pb on my windows 8 64 bits machine : then i installed ftp://mirror.checkdomain.de/imagemagick/binaries/ImageMagick-6.8.4-6-Q16-x64-dll.exe
run imdisplay : ok it opens, and it succeeded in resizing an image from window interface.
then i re run digikam but it failed equally...
do you have any other advice, checkings ?

Thanks,
David

I have the same bug on Arch Linux since the 4.11 release.

Installed packages :
Imagemagick
Gwenview
kipi-plugin

In "external modules / batch processing", "resize" and many other tools are grayed out.
It worked fine in 4.10.

Nevermind, after installing digikam, that feature started working again.
My guess is that some package pulled by digikam did the trick.
