Description xwsawacb 2013-02-26 00:26:36 UTC
PROBLEM:
I can add a feed that already exists.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a feed that already exists, with (1) unread messages. You will see (2) unread messages in "all feeds", and each of these messages will be displayed twice.
2. Read one message and delete it. you will have (0) unread messages.
3. filter status "unread". The other message is there, in green, and we're unable to mark it as read.
Actual Results:
We have (0) unread message on the left, and we have 1 green message on the right.

Expected Results:
When i try to add a feed that already exists, I should get an error message.

using open source for very few months, This is my first bug report on linux, I hope i've done it correctly...
Thank you :)

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
