linux mint 13 with upgraded 2.8.5 konsole or original 2.8.3 konsole. open a tab, and open another tab by pressing control-shift-T there is no way to switch between tabs from the keyboard. pressing control-shift-leftarrow or rightarrow causes the tabs to change order in the tabbar, but does not cause focus or display to change tabs. SOMETIMES the other tab is visible for less than a second while doing this, and SOMETIMES one can properly switch tabs. note: there is no mention of a keyboard command for switching tabs in the documentation. I am also irked that there is no option to enable access to menus from the keyboard (Alt-F for file for example) considering that this is a terminal program it should allow for use from the keyboard. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open konsole 2. create a second tab with control-shift-T 3. try to switch tabs without using the mouse, by pressing control-shift-leftarrow or rightarrow Actual Results: tabs move around on tabbar, changing their sequence, but the terminal stays on the second tab which you just opened. SOMETIMES the first tab is briefly visible for less than a second, and sometimes, rarely, it actually switches tabs. Expected Results: i expect to be able to switch tabs from the keyboard, either using control-shift-left/right or control-pgup/pgdn or control-shift-pgup/pgdn or some way. I don't care about changing the sequence of tabs in the tab bar, i care about changing to different tabs. this is a brand new install of linux mint 13 on a desktop computer with a dell SK-8135 keyboard. Before filing the bug i ran sudo apt-get install konsole and upgraded from 2.8.3 to 2.8.5 but the result was the same.
