Because "Download Central" is maybe not the best to show updates, sorry, I had problem with Ubuntu's Software Center before, it's usability is not really good. Doing it on the command line is much faster: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade If that doesn't work, then you probably don't have added the PPA correctly.
I can open the player now and listen to music, but, some files couldn't be downloaded and i still have the 2.5.0 version. ________________________________ De: Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> Para: junior_tls@yahoo.com.br Enviadas: Domingo, 17 de Fevereiro de 2013 7:58 Assunto: [amarok] [Bug 315286] The program does not run on load https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315286 --- Comment #3 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> --- Because "Download Central" is maybe not the best to show updates, sorry, I had problem with Ubuntu's Software Center before, it's usability is not really good. Well, then the PPA upgrade didn't work, please do the following steps in a konsole: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade If that doesn't work, please ask in http://www.kubuntuforums.net
