When dragging a modal window from one desktop to another, the following issues can be observed: - when clicking on the empty area the window has left, the desktop switches after zooming back in to the one on which the modal window resides now - the empty space which is left by the dragged away window is not properly reclaimed by the remaing windows. This can be observed best when having 2 quick-tiled windows additional to the modal window, both covering each half of the screen. The "setup" I used to reproduce this issue: → Open 2 windows (here: Konsole + Chromium) → Quick-tile them both by dragging one against the left and one against the right screen edge → Open another window which is capable of creating a modal window (here: KMail composer dialog) → Create a modal window belonging to this 3rd window (here: opening the "Attach" file dialog) → Trigger the "Desktop Grid" effect → Move the modal window to another desktop (this will also move the parent window) → Click on the empty area left by the modal window
