fedora calls this game kboxpush. If a bookmark is defined, the bookmark number becomes a hotkey, without any modifiers, or having the menu item open. So simply pressing a "1" on the keyboard, deliberately or by accident, will take the game to the first saved bookmark. Very annoying. System is a Fedora18, 64 bit.
KBoxPush is the KDE3 version of the game, right?
KBoxPush is the name Fedora uses for the program. They seem to think the KSokoban name is encumbered by copyright. The program uses Qt4, rather than any KDE specifics, except for the KDE help system, with a help file I cannot find. Since filing this report, I have read the source, and the hot-key assignment is a design decision, not a bug. Maybe not a good design decision ... I have gotten sources from GIT, modified them so the hot-key is Alt-1, Alt-2, etc. I am happy, but I suggest the modification should be made to the real sources. I was using a computer with a 10-key numeric pad located next to the up-down-left-right triangle. I slipped, and found myself transported to the bookmark. Thank you, this has been one of my favorite games for a long time. I had missed it.
Magazynier is still in SVN/playground, so you are likely using a different program. Also, I was not able to find any "bookmark" handling in Magazynier source code. Could you check who maintains kboxpush?
it is a Lukaz Kalamlaki, kalamlacki@gmail.com. I found the link to the GIT at SourceForge. Further googling got me to you, apparently a mistake. Not quite the same program.
Thanks for the update.
