Description Thomas Weissel 2013-02-13 23:35:39 UTC
After installing a new language (for example "Italian") by highlighting "Italian" and clicking on the right arrow to move the selected language to "preferred languages" this language is not available as "default language" for the spell checker.

you have to close the system settings window, reopen it again and then you'll be able to choose "Italian"
leaving just kcm_language and reentering it again does not do the trick.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.chose/install new preferred language unter country/region & language - apply
2.change to "spell checker" tab
3.click on the drop down menu for the "default language"
4.see that the new language is not there
5.quit systemsettings&restart systemsettings
6. go to "locale" > "spell checker"
7. check "default language again - there it is !!
Actual Results:
the new language is not listed

Expected Results:
the new language should be there as new option

it is not obvious at all how to get a new default language for your spell checker. even in "help" there is nothing to learn.
what about a small hint on how to do this ??
