Description m.wege 2013-02-13 08:43:37 UTC
WEBSMS is an GPL'ed SMS software for Android which through several plugins allows to send SMS messages via several SMS services. It would be very cool, if WEBSMS could be integrated into Kaddressbook or KDE itself or if KDE could make itself compatible to use the WEBSMSplugins/Connectors. I don't know which makes technically more sense.

By doing this, KDE could access to a high number of those SMS services. This could also make very much sense to for Plasma Active, so that Plasma Active could make use of it.
I was not sure, where to add this wish. Since I am personally mostly interested to send SMS-texts via Kaddressbook I added it here.
So it would be nice, if someone could add other appropriate people from Plasma Active.
May be this could also be a Google Summer of Code project.

Reproducible: Always

I couldn't find it, but I know there is also a Meego implementation.

qt -> c++ != java.

So I don't know how I can access to it :)
so yes it's bad.

If there is a lib for access to it ok but I didn't find it.

5 years later and no lib to be found. closing
if someone one day develops one it could be reopened.
