I cannot mark all unread mails in a folder as read. The option "Folders → Mark all mails as read" is disabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Setup an IMAP mailbox 2. Open a folder with unread mail 3. Try to select "Folder -> Mark all mail as read" from the main menu Actual Results: Option "mark all email as read" is disabled Expected Results: Option "mark all email as read" is enabled and marks all unread mail in the current IMAP folder as read.
Reproductible ?

Same on Debian, kmail 4.10.5-2.
Today I've recreated whole KDE setup (removed .kde folder) and now it is working, "Mark All Mails as Read" is available, clickable and it works. Therefore I/m able to reproduce the problem.
Now I found how the problem occurs. - on IMAP account (I don't have POP3, so I can't test if it is only IMAP problem) - navigate to some folder with all messages read - when you right-click on that folder, option "Mark All Mails as Read" is disabled - when into this folder comes new messages and you right-click on folder, option "Mark All Mails as Read" is still disabled Interesting think is that if you click on any, both read or unread message, status of folder is somehow reloaded and option "Mark All Mails as Read" is enabled if applicable.
I finally hit the problem again. - folders of IMAP account (don't have POP3, so I cannot test it also for POP3, but it is probably related with PUSH) - navigate on folder with all messages read - right-click on that folder and option "Mark All Mails as Read" is disabled (thats OK) - stay in that folder and new messages come - right-click on that folder and option "Mark All Mails as Read" is still disabled (thats the problem) When you click on any message (not folder), read or unread, state of folder is reloaded and option "Mark All Mails as Read" is than enabled if applicable.
Fixed for me in 4.11.2
