Description Jörg Schaible 2013-02-12 17:31:39 UTC
I am using Gmane to provide mailing lists as news. When I try to reply to a special message (http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.xstream.user/8332), Knode simply crashes as soon as the reply button is hit in the toolbar and the complete process of Kontact (4.9.5) is terminated. I could reproduce the behavior on two different machines (both running Kontact/Knode-4.9.5 on Gentoo amd64).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open knode
2. Subscribe gmane.comp.java.xstream.user
3. Mark message 8332 (Topic "Attribute placement" by Gregory Sliker)
4. Hit reply to list
Actual Results:
Knode crashes

Expected Results:
Edit window with message should open

One correction: The second system where I could reproduce the same crash was still running Kontact-4.8.4, so it seems the message triggers an error that hides already for some time.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
