Description Martín Cigorraga 2013-02-06 04:25:48 UTC
Google has that damn habit of choosing for you the landing page language based on your IP.
Luckly they also give us the chance to choose whatever language we want; in Konqueror clicking the link English wont, Konqueror starts to load something but then stops and nothing happens.

Here is a screenshot of Google.com.ar landing page and how it looks:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the English hot link.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The page will start to reload but then will suddenly stop.

Expected Results:
The page is reloaded in english.

I can reproduce this too by going to google.com.ar. It is probably one of those user-agent based detection problems. I will have to check and see...

Actually it seems to be the kio http cache that is causing this. Disabling the caches fixes the problem for me.
