cpu:intel G2020
mainboard: H61 Win8 SIT 95W MB@RTL8111F_A662(R)
SD card: kingston 2G, kingston 16G
Kernel: 3.6.3
KDE: 4.9.2
Normal operation, plug in sd card, copy file, umount card, unplug card, and plug in again. Do it for 2-10 times, the card can not be access.

Reproducible: Always

No, can not access from terminal. 
btw, if use "umount" & "mount" in terminal, and try it for serveral times, can access successfully.

We guess if the device has not been cut down power under kde env.

Can you try restarting a daemon called either "udisk" or "udisk2" ?
