Great program but from time to time the encryption process leaves a temporary file (or at least I'm assuming that is what they are) which has same name and size as the encrypted file .. the file has a 6 hex digit extension (e.g. .gpg.Fu6680 ) each encryption (usually) creates an additional temp file. I usually delete these files periodically (although they remain open/locked in Kleopatra whilst its running) and no ill seems to occur .. just a little wary that there may be information there that weakens security. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Take a (big file e.g. 4mb) 2.encrypt using personal key (and select delete original option) 3.look in directory of original file (encrypted fiel there also!) Actual Results: Temporary file visible Expected Results: deleted the file completely? Not sur eif it presents any security weakening
I'll check this issue again with current Kleopatra and Gpg4win.
