Description Thomas Pfeiffer 2013-01-30 16:48:15 UTC
On my device in Files, the number next to Images reads 63, but I can only see 29 images. The number next to Documents reads 36, but I can only see 25 documents.
videos and Music show the correct numbers

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open FIles
2. Compare number next to category with the number of visible files in that category (all pages together)

Actual Results:
Numbers mismatch for some categories

Expected Results:
Numbers match

After running Nepomuk Cleaner, the number of images is now correct, but Documents is still off: I can see 36 document files in Files, but the number in the Filters tab says 42

Changing to "Major" to make it a release blocker: It's not bad functionality-wise, but would be pretty embarrassing in a released version. If we don't get it fixed before release, the numbers should simply be (temporarily) removed (they're not crucial information anyway).

Decision: unless notmart finds an easy fix, we'll remove the numbers for PA and maybe reintroduce them once we get them to work properly.

hide resource number

resource number is not overly useful, and at the moment appears to be wrong
it would still need to be replaces with faster queries
