Description Dennis Schridde 2013-01-28 14:25:01 UTC
= General information, not part of issue I want to report =
Akonadi has some trouble with KWallet - it does not seem to store/find passwords there for most accounts. So it will ask me for the password every time.

= Actual bugreport =
After I enter my password wrongly, Akonadi will report (via plasma system notifications) me an SMTP authentication failure during sending my email. But it will not ask for a new password again. So it sticks with the wrong password and infinitely fails when retrying to send.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04/Precise which comes with KDE 4.8.5 (4:4.8.5-0ubuntu0.1) and akonadi-server-1.7.2-0ubuntu1.

Reproducible: Always

4.8.5 + akonadi 1.7.2 is obsolete.
update it and reopen if necessary
we already fixed it.
