Description Ian 2013-01-26 08:46:10 UTC
Pressing shift w or shift p produces no result. Can use caps lock to produce capital P or W. Both keys work fine in windows.

Do you see the same issue when trying this on a new user account?

Hi Christopher,
new account does not have this issue.

You have probably accidentally assigned some other functions globally to Shift+W and Shift+P keys, so they do not work with one account, but do work on a clean user account.

If you believe this is a bug in the KDE software, please report which configuration files in your home directory are causing the issue.
