When I enable some effects like wobbly windows and desktop cube, my desktop will become so slow it is unusable. I also notice a lot more transparencies. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go into System Settings 2. Click on Desktop Effects 3. Go to all effects tab 4. Enable Wobbly Windows and Desktop Cube Actual Results: The desktop bogs down to an unusable state. It can only be fixed by setting the renderer from OpenGL to XRenderer. Expected Results: The desktop should remain snappy and responsive, only Wobbly Windows and Desktop Cube should be enabled. This is on Fedora 18 Spherical Cow. I have had the same issue with Fedora 17.
