Using "Get New Snippets" action I see this error message on konsole:
kate(16459)/knewstuff (api): No knsrc file named ' "ktexteditor_codesnippets_core.knsrc" ' was found.

GUI reads: Configuration file not found: "ktexteditor_codesnippets_core.knsrc" and the list in the Kate Add-On Installer dialog is empty.

There is no action to load snippets from a local file and thus impossible to import any snippets.

I am also unable to add snippets and there is No View> Tool View> Show Kate Snippets

I've copied my old system (kde 4.8.5) kate "HTML On-The-Go" to ~/.kde4/ktexteditor_snippets/data/  (new system openSuSE 12.3 / KDE 4.10.0)
and under Tools> Snippets> they are listed, unselected, but greyed out. I selected them, they come into focus, but still am unable to 'use' them.

Use to be, Ctrl+Space... 

Manual says View> Tool View > Snippets should still be there.. it's not.

Under Tools> Snippets> there is provision to 'edit' , but there is No way or it does not allow me to Save. 'OK' and 'Cancel' does not 'un-gray' or activate.
