- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Dolphin just crashed halfway through copying a bundle of ~10 files to the external USB drive. This is not reproducible, but Dolphin crashes became more frequent (for quite random reasons) since the update to KDE 4.10.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
