Description Thomas Arend 2013-01-11 23:17:28 UTC
Created attachment 76406 [details]
MBOX with original e-mail and relayed message

An attached e-mail can't be opened withe the message window. Dialog reports that the attachment does not contain a message. (Die Datei enthält keine Nachricht)

To reproduce the error use following steps:
1. send a simple message to yourself
2. Receive the message
3. Relay the message as an attachment to yourself
4. Receive the message
5. Attachment can be viewed in the preview window
6. Attachment can't be opened with kmail-message-viewer

Saving the attached message results in an empty file (size 0).

Error occurs in preview window of message list and in message viewer window.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
