Description Martin Holec 2013-01-10 15:17:27 UTC
Text fields are unusable after login dialog change.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select "Menu" - "Remote Login".
2. Select "Menu" - "Local Login".
Actual Results:
Unable to type into text fields.

Expected Results:
Can input text as before switch.

kdm-4.9.4-2.fc18.x86_64

Also reproducible when you configure shutdown permissions to "Only Root", try to shutdown from KDM and you are requested to input root password.

Confirmed for openSUSE 12.3, kdm-4.10.5-1.119.1.x86_64
There are other keyboard input problems too.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Bauer 2014-12-16 12:59:10 UTC
There's a general issue with input focus in kdm's dialogs. See the other bug report for a workaround.
