Description Christian Reiner 2013-01-09 17:11:05 UTC
Kmail2 offers an integrated sieve script manager. It works fine, though it is a little 'raw'... One thing that really needs to be changed:
'Activating' and 'editing' a script are logically two completely independent things. Yet the manager mingles both: it is impossible to simply edit a script without activating it as the default script. That makes little sense and is not neccessary.

Instead of the current solution I suggest to separate both aspects:
- highlighting an entry (a script) should only select it to be able to run one of the actions offered below. The activation of a script (setting it as 'default' on the server side) should be completely separate. There is absolutely no reason to connect both aspects.
- selecting one of the radio buttons in from of the entries should trigger that second aspect.

Certainly even now it is possible to get your scripts configured and sorted out. But looking closer the current solution forces periods where scripts are active (selected as default) that are not meant to. What for?

Reproducible: Always

I confirm it.
I would like to fix it in 4.10 but I didn't have time to do it in 4.10
I will fix it in 4.11 :)
