Description Dennis Schridde 2013-01-08 23:50:30 UTC
I get several of these over time, when starting Akonadi on the console (akonadictl restart):
A message was received from the server with no job to handle it: "* BYE Too many invalid IMAP commands. " "(SOME-HASH)"
SOME-HASH is always the same hash for all of them.

Does Akonadi log BAD IMAP responses (and the corresponding command) somewhere?

I created bug #313159 for the problem that causes the too-many-invalid-imap-commands error.

However, I leave this bug open, because Akonadi/IMAP should still handle the error message and tell the user that there is a problem within Akonadi/IMAP that causes trouble and he should try to debug it.

The IMAP resource has a new maintainer, reassigning to him.
