Description boky01 2013-01-08 02:58:31 UTC
If you push Alt+b the bookmarks will appear on the right side.
When I try to set another function to the "Alt+b" there is no problem, but when I try to use it will say this shortcut is ambiguous.
So I can not set Alt+b shortcut to another function.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setting -> Configure Shortcuts
2. Set whatever (except bookmark right) to alt+b
3. Ok button
4. Press Alt+b
Actual Results:
Warning message in a small dialog: "this shortcut is ambiguous."

Expected Results:
I think it is obvious.

I use up to date debian testing.

Confirmed on v2.7. We probably should remove this shortcut.
Comment 2 Davide Gianforte 2019-07-13 20:03:28 UTC
The shortcut is configurable from Krusader and it is inherited by default from KConfigGui. Can someone confirm the presence of the bug?

If it may be useful: it's strange what happens in two separate, independent machines, with Kubuntu 18.04 installed, using the Spanish language: if you press Alt+B then Krusader asks you if you want to delete the current file. Note: maybe there the "B" is related the word "Borrar" (it's the usual word to mean "delete" in Spanish).

That "Alt+B asks to delete" doesn't happen in:
    - Dolphin in those machines.
    - A virtual machine with Kubuntu 18.04 installed, using the English language.
    - A virtual machine with Kubuntu 19.04 installed, using the English language.

Using the git version of Krusader, it happens under:
    - Kubuntu 18.04 in English.
    - Kubuntu 19.04 in English.
