A lot of fixes have been included since 4.6.1.

Have a look for Claydoh's PPA and get the latest version from there.  Be sure to de-install your current version first.

Crashes also with version 4.6.3 from Clay's PPA.

Too bad that didn't help.

It works for me on Mint 14, and for you on Kubuntu.

Could you try it with a new .kmy file, just in case there's something in there upsetting things.

Works also bad with a new file. So I installed kmymomey from Clay's PPA in another virtual maschine with Ubuntu 12.04 and this works fine. So there must be an old or corrupt package in my regular Ubuntu installation.

That is really just confirming what has been reported before several 
times, including several other bugs.

Version 4.6.4 has now been released and it would be a good idea to try 
to get more up-to-date.  Or, alternatively, a later version of Ubuntu, 
in case the problem is in a library.

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I clicked the "Budget"-button on the left side to view and add the budgets, but the programm closed

I tried 
$export QT_ACCESSIBILITY=0 && kmymoney
in the shell, could see my budget, can add a new one and save my .kmy file.

But when I start with the software by clicking the icon, the software crashes by opening the budget.

You might have to delete your budget, if you can, and try again.  If it 
still fails, we think again.

I have to deleted my budget by using
$export QT_ACCESSIBILITY=0 && kmymoney
and started kmymoney again and now I can open the budget.

But when I click the button to apply a new budget, the software crashes again.
