- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I opened Kmail and got on with other work. A few minutes later a related system generated this crash report. I have seen the same report before during normal kmail usage, but would classs the crash as intermittent.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Could you tell me how you determined this bug was a duplicate please so I can better flag future bugs.

Well, drkonqi has already given the hint of duplicate.  I just compare the  last a few lines (#6 ~ #15) of the backtrace of the two reports to make sure.
