Description Victor Varvaryuk 2013-01-01 17:59:13 UTC
First i am testing Dolphin. I select a file then i press SHIFT + Down/Up and more files get selected/deselected.
When i do the same in Krusader, i get some orphan selected files.

Reproducible: Always

This annoys me too... The problem comes from how Krusader distinguishes between "selected" and "current" items, but doesn't offer sufficient options to tweak that or the arrow keys. Note that you can change the current item with the arrow keys, but the selection stays wherever it was.

There need to be a few new options to achieve what I would consider a more intuitive behavior here. Options that have the selection follow current under some circumstances. Also, an option to have shift selections be one way only when using arrows (rather than toggling, only force to selected).
