1. Normally, Kaddressbook should display a column in which the list of contacts is displayed. 2. In version 4.9.3., no such list is displayed. 3. Even though three columns were selected in the view menu, only two columns are displayed. NEITHER of the two columns contains the list of contacts in the address book. 4. This renders the Kaddressbook almost USELESS. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start the Kadressbook. 2. Select an address book in the column titled "Address Books". 3. Select 3 columns from the view menu. 4. Observe the display. 5. Note that you get only two columns, One of them is titled "Address Books" and the other contains the details of a contact entry in the selected address book Actual Results: 1. Only two columns are displayed, One of them is titled "Address Books" and the other contains the details of a contact entry in the selected address book. 2. THERE IS NO COLUMN SHOWING THE LIST OF CONTACTS IN THE ADDRESS BOOK Expected Results: 1. Three columns must be shown. 2. The middle (second column) must provide a complete list of all the contacts contained in the selected address book.

Created attachment 76798 [details] 1. The attachment is the screenshot requested by Laurent Montel 1. It can be seen from the attached screenshot that the column listing all the contacts in the address book is missing even though the screenshot indicates that 3 columns have been selected for display.

1. I do not recall doing anything to collapse the middle column. It came up with two columns to begin with. 2. I tried to get three columns by selecting "Three columns" in the view menu. It did not show three columns. 3. However, I followed your suggestion and managed to obtain the middle column by expanding the inner border between the existing two columns. This seems to have worked somehow. 4. Thank you for your suggestion and for taking steps to resolve the issue in version 4.10. I hope the fix works. 5. Incidentally, the current KAddressbook has still to catch up with an earlier version, namely, 4.3.2, in terms of features and display in areas such as categories (hierarchy not displayed as clearly as in version 4,3,2,) and the "Apply" button which is missing in versions after 4.3.2.
