Description Anders Lund 2012-12-22 14:12:50 UTC
long time existing usability error, time to report it :-)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. uncollapse all folders in the folder pane
2. restart akonadi (type "akonadictl restart" in krunner for example)
Actual Results:
all folders in folder pane are collapsed

Expected Results:
all folders should be as they were prior to akonadi restart

Sorry but kmail2 launch + restart akonadi is not supported.
It"s not a standard work.
So sorry I will close as wontfix

I know you are all busy, and I also really love to see kmail evolve with nice pace currently.

However, all apps using akonadi shows a button to start it if does not run. Maybe the result of clicking that should include restarting the app then? (though I do not experience problems with this outside kmail)

Another thought: Kmail does know how to save the state, as it starts with the state as when closed.
