Description Ezio Vergine 2012-12-20 21:44:03 UTC
I've forwarded two message to a friend (every message had an attachment) in a single message. The message is ok, for test I've send same message to a gmail account and gmail client show the attachment correctly. If I open the same message with kmail, I've a message containing two attachment (the name of attachment is "forwarded message"). If I click an attachment and select "open with kmail viewer" option, this message appear: "The file does not contain a message."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Forward multiple message with attachment in a single message
Actual Results:
I can see two attachment but I can't open forwarded message

Expected Results:
I can open forwarded message or in the message there is original attachment

I confirm it.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
