Description kenneth Nash 2012-12-19 23:31:42 UTC
I want to clear out my inbox of messages. I want to save some of the messages in different folder. I have turned off save message on server so all mail should be downloaded. I made a filter to move messages to another folder. I applied filter and all messages were in separate folder under inbox. I look through inbox and the messages pop back into inbox. It has done it with control j. with apply filter singular and apply filter to folder. the messages are still in the other folder too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.make filter
2.apply filter
3.watch message pop back
Actual Results:
inbox not emptying.

Expected Results:
messages moved to folder under inbox and not downloaded again.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
